A comprehensive 1-day course allowing a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who’s injured or becomes ill at work.
This course is for all opportunists linked with the management of fire safety at workplace, consisting of managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) as well as the staff working in any area where there’s a potential risk of fire.
Those acquiring this qualification would be taught about fire safety being the responsibility of every staff member at any workplace. Students would be thoroughly gaining knowledge about the consequences if the fire broke out anywhere on the premises.
The qualification comprises 1 unit:

Assessed by a multiple-choice examination, this course consists of:

- Learning about the hazards & risks associated with fire at workplace
- Learning about how fire risk can potentially be controlled at workplace
Minimum contact time:
Minimum contact time (MCT) for this course is 7 hours stipulated by the SIA.
